Switzerland

Winter 2016 – 2017 in Graubünden, Switzerland.
Hardly any snow for Christmas and New Year, except on higher altitudes some remains from the first heavy snowfall in November.
2017 brought from mid-January to the first week of March quite a bit of this white stuff, but risk of avalanches remained considerable in Graubünden, especially on eastern parts like Davos and Bergün. But with a lot of lovely days with great sunshine, there were some good opportunities to take a few shots!

A few views from winter 2016 in Graubünden

As avalanche risk was serious (3 on a scale of 5 at slf.ch) we couldn’t make as many snowshoe tours as intended.

Snow, sunshine, best conditions to take your snowshoes an to enjoy nature!
