Let's go to Jotunheimen

 Since some time we ( my wife Renée as well as our daughters Jill, 18 years and Célia, 13 years and myself, Jean-Jacques) had intended to spend our summer holidays on hiking tours.

The quite exceptional summer made most people in Luxembourg suffer from the heat, but the climate in Norway was a very good one for hiking. Temperatures ranging around 20° to 22 ° C, and, due to the cool nights, a clear atmosphere provided excellent conditions for hill walking with panoramas offering view 50 km away.

 We had planed to stay around Jotunheimen. So we were pleased, after the long journeys to Lapland in past years, to arrive in Hemsedal after only two and a half days with our Range-Rover and trailer caravan.
