After a mixed summer, Davos Glaris, Röven am Flüelapass, Safiental and Obergmeind and all of Graubünden had an exceptionally beautiful autumn. The blaze of colors from the middle of September to the end of October reminded some of the so often cited Canadian Indian Summer. The red of the blueberry hedges, the blaze of color of the mountain ash and later the strong orange of the larch trees in the already low sun … suddenly not only climbing the peaks became an experience, but also hikes at medium heights and up to 2000 m had their charm …
In particular, the hiking trail from Röven on the Flüelapass to the Suot Chastè viewpoint was hardly strenuous and yet a special highlight in terms of gold-colored larches … If you like it more strenuous, you can go further up to Piz Chastè.
