Spending the turn of the year in Normandy (or, like in other years, in Brittany… ) can be associated with a great deal of trust in the weather gods… However, this trust could be deceptive!
The two weeks at the end of December 2022 / beginning of January 2023 showed how reliable this was. During this time, sun worshipers often waited in vain, and photographers were also mostly disappointed by the light conditions… continuous rain, puddles and hiking boots sinking into the mud were probably the order most of the days…
Well, apparently there is no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing…
Under these conditions, the Alabaster Coast still retained its charm:
Fish, scallops and oysters are fresh and tasty even when it rains!
