A series of pinhole triptychs on Esch-sur-Alzette, my home town.
The photos were taken for an exhibition to mark the town’s centenary.
The camera was nothing more than a horseshoe-shaped cardboard box with three 0.5 mm holes, allowing three different shots to be taken on the same piece of film… yes, we’re talking about silver photography. The three views, blending into each other, give a new impression of the urban landscapes familiar to those who walk through the city.
Once developed, the films were printed in contact on baryta paper.
The photos were presented under a Canson Vergé Blanc in 60×50 cm frames.
