Mit dem Sessellift von Ftan geht’s durch den Nebel. Auch als wir in Prui vom Lift stiegen, sah das Wetter noch bei weitem nicht so, wie man uns unten an der Kasse versichert hatte… Aber allmählich verschwand der Nebel dann doch um uns einen schönen Tag zu bescheren…
Nicht nur der Sessellift Ftan-Prui, auch die Bergbahn Scuol-Motta Naluns erlaubt einige Höhenmeter zu sparen.

The routes are among the most beautiful railway routes ever, they not only lead tourists and locals through fascinating mountain landscapes, but also the valley crossings over the Landwasser Viaduct at Filisur (above), the Wiesener Viaduct near Davos-Wiesen (below left) or other viaducts offer great views!
From Filisur the onward journey via Bergün and Preda is really great. From there you get through the Albula Tunnel to Spinas (stop there on request to get off, from Spinas Gasthaus approx. 4 hours hike to Jenatschhütte SAC ), Bever, Samedan, St Moritz in Engadin .

Wir durchqueren Bivio, wo wir am Eingang des Dorfes, aus Richting Savognin kommend, das Auto auf dem großen Parkplatz abgestellt haben. Wir steigen rechts das Sträßchen auf, unter dem Skilift durch und dann durch Hochtal auf der verschneiten, nun gedammten Straße Richtung Süden. Bei den Häusern Cadval zweigen Spuren zum Roccabella ab.
Auf Schneeschuhen geht es dann weiter zum Passo Lunghin.
Piz Lunghin 2779 m und Piz dal Sasc 2920 8liegen nebeneinander. Beide sind in etwa gleichhoch, Piz Lunghin auf den letzten 100 Metern aber wesentlich steiler. Tolle Aussicht ins Engadin und den Maloja Pass
We cross Bivio, where we parked the car at the village entrance, coming from Savognin, and we walk up the small road, under the ski-lift, and head for the housesCadval. At this point tracks are leaving to the left for Piz Roccabella. But we are continuing southward with a regular rather smooth colb to Passo Lunghin 2664 m.
Piz Lunghin 2779 m and Piz dal Sasc 2920 m are next to each other, They are at more or less the same altitude, but Piz Lunghin is much steeper for the last 80 m. Stunning view to Bernina, Engadin valley and Maloja Pass.
Nous traversons Bivio, où nous nous garons sur le parking payant à l’entrée du village, et nous montons sur le haut-plateau par une petite route sur la droite à la sortie du village. A une centaine de mètres plus haut, nous passons sous la remontée mécanique et nous continuons jusqu’aux maisons de Cadwal. Ici des traces bifurquent vers Roccabella, mais nous gardons la direction Sud. Nous montons constamment en raquettes jusqu’au col Lunghin à 2664 m.
Le Piz Lunghin à 2779 m et le Piz dal Sasc à 2720 m sont l’un à côté de l’autre. Mais les derniers 80 m du Piz Lunghin sont beaucoup plus raides.
Belles vues sur Bernina, la vallée d’Engadin et le col de Maloja.
