Die Aufnahmen entstanden im Rahmen eines Ausstellungsbesuchs des PCE

vom 18.06.2022 bis 04.09.2022 im Rahmen von Esch2022, Kulturhauptstadt Europas

Mit der Themenausstellung „metalworks – designing & making“, knüpft die Stadt Esch an der Alzette an ihre industrielle Vergangenheit an. Esch-sur-Alzette wurde aufgrund seiner Stahl- und Bergbau-tätigkeit einst als „Eisenmetropole“ bezeichnet und hat sich zu einem wichtigen Zentrum der Eisen-industrie in Europa entwickelt.
